The concept for this little painting was dreamed up late one night while I was working on another project. I grabbed a scrap piece of paper and scribbled it down so I wouldn't forget. The next day I sketched it out in my sketchbook and then slowly started the painting. I wanted this painting to be whimsical and fun. I used various photos for reference but for the most part I just made it up as I went. I almost like the sketch more than the painting which makes me think I should have executed it with watercolours instead of acrylic paint.
